Peter Hassenpflug’s jewelry is confined to pure elements: Fine gold, fine silver, fine platinum, copper, tantalum, hafnium, zirconium. 
The common denominator of all his works is a clear language of form, which could also be described as “less is more”, with clearly visible structures of manual craftship. His absolute sovereignty in the selection and composition of materials results in jewelry that is aesthetically pleasant without having to be pleasing. 
Peter Hassenpflug is the co-founder of ORFÈVRE and ran the gallery until April 2020.
